What should I expect on the day of the event?
This will be a high energy and exciting event! For this year’s Prayer on the 9, instead of spreading out along 79th street and finishing with a community march, we are focusing our PRAYER presence along 79th Street, activating five key intersections:
Ellis, Cottage Grove, Rhodes, King, and State.
At each location, prayer teams will cover all four corners, creating a concentrated stretch of prayer right in the heart of the community.
Our call is simple and powerful: Walk up. Pull up. Or Honk for prayer.
Whether on foot or in your car, anyone passing by can stop and receive prayer. Right there on the corners, we’ll be lifting up intentional prayer targets for our city, believing God to move in every space we stand.
Following this time of prayer, we’ll gather for a Resource Fair in the Temple South Lot, creating space to serve our community in practical ways and connect people to ongoing support and resources.
